Hi there, thanks for reaching out!
To answer your question directly: No, the plugin does not collect or send any personal or system data without your explicit consent. You can also find all of these privacy details fully documented in the plugin’s readme.txt file.
Here is a quick breakdown of the external connections it makes:
On the Front-End:
We use Plyr (an open-source library) for media controls. It does not contact external hosts or collect any user data.
In the Admin Dashboard:
Our admin interface uses a shared utility library (bpl-tools), which makes a few strictly non-invasive external connections:
bPlugins & WordPress.org APIs: The dashboard connects to these APIs solely to fetch pricing, feature comparisons, and a list of our other plugins. It only sends the plugin slug and author name to retrieve this info. No personal or site data is transmitted.
Freemius Lite SDK: We do offer usage tracking to help us improve the plugin, but this is 100% opt-in. Absolutely no data is sent to us or Freemius unless you explicitly click to consent via the admin prompt.
Let me know if you need any more details!
