That’s a very good question, I’ve been thinking about it for weeks. It’d be great to make the plugin compliant with GDPR, for example by storing the given consents somehow.
Regards.
@velocityruhr
Yeah that’s exactly I want to know also.
Of course it will be 100% GDPR compilant before May 25th.
The only thing missing is an option to change user consent and we’re working on it already.

Hi,
I was just checking this plugin for GDPR compliance and if I can use this on my site. What I understood is if a user declines for cookie – no cookie should get stored on his browser. I created a test cookie in theme.
When I click on no in cookie notice bar – still I can see cookie that I have created in resources tab in Chrome browser. Can anybody please help with this? What I am doing wrong.
@dfactory – by changing consent, are you referring to the ability to reopen the cookie notice and change to yes/no?
EDIT: Nevermind. I noticed this has been addressed in another thread.

@pallavi,
The option to block is only meant to add non functional script, not all ( functional, needed cookies ) need to be blocked until consent is given.
For functional cookies, that do not collect personal data, we do not need to aks permission, just inform them about it in Privacy statement.
