GD for PHP – redux

    I’ve tried to get help from iPowerWeb regarding GD. They won’t install it for me, and I’m not sure what to do. All I want to do is use the darn Exhibit plug in.
    I’ve downloaded GD 2.0.26, and they tell me I can just upload the whole folder to my root folder. But, then what? The instructions say I have to have C compiler. Is that true?

    I decided to just install it in the root folder. It seems to work so I’m not going to question it.
