If you could give us more insights on the issue, maybe I could focus on some specific part of the plugin to optimize
Which page refuses to load when wishlist is active? Does this happens on wishlist page?
Do you think you could ask your hostig provider to investigate the cause of the timeouts, and to point out processes that require most resources?
It appears to only affect very long wishlists. Another wishlist on a different account loads quickly
I contacted the host already and they said according to their tests it’s a plugin issue. If you create a sample wishlist with 300 items for example, are you able to replicate?
I need to schedule a test in order to check wishlist with huge amount of products

Are you using pagination on your wishlist?
Loading 300 products from your DB all in one would be a problem in any case, and you should try to prevent this from occurring, by using pagination
