I wants to customize the Gallery Shortcode, and i have modified the codes in media.php, for example, <dl> tag been changed to
- , but it doesn’t work, output html still with default setting, how do i fix this problem?

Thanks esmi!

I found out what problem is, i use the sandbox template frame, it’s function.php has override the default template. so i need going to modify the function.php of sandbox, not default wp-includes/media.php.

kinglu, can you tell me how exactly you resolved this problem? I am using Sandbox as well (or at least calling Sandbox into a custom theme) and I cannot get the shortcodes to work.
