Gallery Search Option

Is there any way to add a “search box” that enables site visitors to search for images in a NextGEN gallery? Some of my galleries have hundred of images, and I would like site visitors to be able to quickly find relevant photos by searching keywords in image titles, descriptions, and tags. If this ability doesn’t exist, could this be a future development? Thanks!
