Gallery problems

    I’ve been using the Lazyest Gallery plugin, but since I updated to the most current WORDPRESS update 3.1.1, my plugins page shows as blank with Firefox, and http:500 error on explorer 9. After research, I noticed that if I rename the lazyest gallery via webshell, I loose gallery function and gain plugin page function on the admin area. I decided to try other gallery plugins. I deactivated lazyest gallery, and uploaded and activated NextGen the first time, then WP Photo Album Plus and they both did the same thing. It seems there is a problem with the galleries plugins.
    WHAT COULD HAVE CHANGED, or CAUSED THIS as Lazyest Gallery was working fine and the plugins page was working fine before.
