Is there a way to get the items that the plugin picks up on- to appear as a list? as opposed to now its just highlighting them where they are. like if its in a drop down menu, you wont know that its highlighted unless u look into the drop down menu.

thanks for reaching out! Do you have any particular gallery plugin in mind? I have tested our plugin with the first one that showed up in my “add new plugin” search results (“Gallery” by BestWebSoft) and it works. And to answer your second question: a drop down menu is a bit too ambitious for our plugin as we only improve WordPress default search functionality. Does it work with the NextGen Gallery plugin? And the regular WordPress Media Library?
I’m looking for a search plugin that will let visitors search through all the media (images, audio, video, documents, etc.) on my site. It would be nice if it output the search in a nice little list and/or show the media item with its metadata.

thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately our plugin doesn’t work with the NextGen Gallery plugin but I had no problem searching for images, documents and audio files when they were inserted via Media Library. But just a heads up, you won’t be able to search into the document itself.
