That is actually the default WordPress gallery. To get that, you will need to create a gallery. When you create one, I used consistent sized images when I uploaded each image cropped at 960×600 pixels.
But if you upload varying sized photos, then you should have your Media Settings thumbnail size set to create crop images to exact dimensions. The thumbnails on the demo sized down to 270×170 pixels (or whatever you choose). Otherwise, you can do what I did and make your full size images the same size before uploading.
The reason why I cropped and sized my images first, is to maintain a consistent size and look for the gallery.
Thanks. That is great. I’ll crop and use your method. Much appreciated.
Love the theme.
Cheers
I’m a little confused. Do you mean there’s a default WP Gallery that’s installed with the theme? I don’t see it. Or do I need to install a plugin? There are so many, can you provide the plugin name exactly as it appears or the URL to download it. Thanks!
Hi Diannadoran….the gallery is part of WordPress. If you need some info about the WP Gallery, you can check out more info here:
WP Gallery
But the theme has some extra styling to accommodate the WP Gallery.
