Gallery Number IDs When Uploading

    I finally bit the bullet and updated NextGen and so far everything seems ok. However one issue would be there are no longer gallery number IDs shown in the drop-down when adding a new image. I have over 1,000 galleries and it’s going to be extremely time consuming to find a specific one in the drop-down list without the numbers. Is there a way to add these back?

    @thedrewseum – Have you tried typing in the name of the gallery into the drop-down selector?

    As far as displaying gallery IDs in the selector you are more than welcome to share your thoughts and ideas on this as a Feature Request here: http://nextgen-gallery.com/feature-voting/

    Thanks for the reply. There are too many galleries with similar names, unfortunately. The previous version of NextGen had the numbers and it’s extremely helpful. I’ll put in a request to bring that feature back.

    Please consider bringing back the gallery ID numbers to the dropdown menu. It’s becoming next to impossible to use for someone like me with almost 2,000 galleries. I added the request when we discussed this a month ago, but it doesn’t appear to be on the voting page. I can’t imagine most people wouldn’t find this incredibly helpful.

    @thedrewseum – We will be looking at this idea still … and we are working on a “new” format for our Feature Voting page so some ideas may not be present, yet.
