  • I second this!
    That would be great.

I am not sure but I think there is a plugin for Gallery…I never tried to use Gallery, But if you want, as soon as I have more time, I can have a look to see how I can update my psnGallery code to provide the same functionnalities….
The issues I have from the moment are : I don’t have Gallery installed and running. I will be on holiday abroad for few weeks (without computer)….But I am sure it should not be a big deal to handle “Gallery”

Oops ! I checked on menalto gallery…It requires NetPBM or ImageMagick …which are not installed at my webhoster….So I can’t help you ! Sorry 🙁

I’m using Gallery on my site. I didn’t try to integrate it (I have seperate logins for WordPress and Gallery) but it wasn’t very hard to make them look similar so there would be continuity within the site.

idahocline: too bad! I really like your psnGallery script….

I would wait for Gallery v 2.0 before spending time on a plug-in (due within a few months I hope), which as I understand it has a completely new code base and better CSS support.

Michiel: thanks ;o) maybe you should migrate to Coppermine ;o)

    oops I was logged on….

I am using Gallery 1.4.2 on my site and havent bothered to “Integrate” it, however I have added the Random Block to my site – example, easy enough to do. I will post the snippet of code that I used on the forums for others.

I agree with david, it’s probably worth waiting for Gallery 2. Not least because it’ll use MySQL, so no need for monkeying around with the flat-file database.

Warpig: let me know where you have posted the code:-)

I have posted the snippet I have been using in the forums here –
I am going to fix up the ob_start() functions as Korgan suggests, but if someone else fixes it before me, maybe they can update it 😉

I use gallery on my site
It is completely separate from WordPress though, not sure if that’s what you’re looking to do. Basically once you install gallery, you can adjust the template so it fits right into your website theme.
Let me know if you want more help 🙂

I have written a tutorial on it, you can check it out here:

    thank you!
