“Future date” posts not showing up

    When I publish a new post with a “future date” in the timestamp fields, the post never shows up.

    The Dashboard page does show a countdown, but it wierdly begins counting back *up* after the timestamp time.

    After the set time, if I then Edit the post and click Save, the post immediately appears.

    Am I missing something basic here?

    If your posts are not appearing on schedule, then you have a problem with wp-cron not working. Search around, there’s a lot of reasons that this can occur.
