Functionality Question

Hi, I’ve modified this theme for a website: http://www.flashmint.com/template-demo-4289.html
What I’m trying to get is a single image displayed, with the ability to page between the other images in the gallery.

Here’s my problem (that I really hope you can help me with): when you click on the image, instead of it linking to the next slide, I want it it to link it to the same kind of lightbox display in the theme. Even if scrolling between the images in the lightbox isn’t functional, I still want the user to be able to see a larger version of the image in the slideshow without having to link to the image source in a new page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I was thinking of editing the slide link URL but have been unsuccessful in getting it to work.
