    Hi Tobias,

I have used the search function before opening this thread and have found related but not really identical questions asked concering your excellent plugin (Thanks so much!)

I would love to be able to give a single specific user the ability to replace a single specific table by uploading a file (xls / csv) – nothing more, nothing less 😉
The user really just needs to see the “choose your file for upload” dialog and then get notified if the table has been successfully replaced or not.

I know there is one other possibility to accomplish this process (via your Automatic Periodic Table Import extension and FTP upload of the files) but I feel strongly that my users would be better off using a simple web-interface than having to install a FTP client on their machines first and getting used to using it…

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 🙂

    Thanks

    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Sorry, I’m not aware of a solution for this. TablePress does use the WordPress roles and capability system, but there’s currently no easy way (without custom code) to assign access rights on a per-table basis, or to reduce the user interface to only that file upload form.

    Regards,
    Tobias
