Function Reference/site url

Hi! 🙂

Is there anyway i can use “site_url” for custom link on the frontpage?
(in case i change host not to mess all the links)
And if yes, how should i write it down?
For instance. I want to go to the page:
“http://myurl.com/category/surgery/”
