function is_translated_post_type() on a non-object

  • Hi,

    I’ve just installed relevanssi.

    I indexed my content, so far so great…I tried to search for some content, and patatra :

    Fatal error: Call to a member function is_translated_post_type() on a non-object in mysite\wp-content\plugins\relevanssi\lib\common.php on line 15

    I’m quite embarrassed now…

    Any workaround?

    Thanks a lot

    Are you using WPML? Which version?

    Add

    remove_filter('relevanssi_hits_filter', 'relevanssi_wpml_filter');

    to your functions.php to get rid of the error.

    Cool, this solves a similar problem with polylang. What are the implications of removing that filter though (if I can ask)?

    It disables the WPML support in Relevanssi. If you’re not using WPML, you won’t notice a thing.
