Being responsive would generally mean being able to adapt to screen sizes.
My screen size is 1920×1080 and the slide is not 100% width
Setting a fixed width wont work either because I know there are bigger screen sizes thand my 1920×1080 e.g a 15-inch MacBook Pro with a 2880×1800 display?
Shouldn’t the slide have a 100% width option to make it “fully” responsive?
It isn’t “fully” responsive if it wont scale up to 100% – responsive works both ways scaling down as well as scaling up?
Am I missing a setting somewhere that I just can’t find?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi Shannon 🙂

I apologize for any confusion, the slider can only ever be 100% of the theme’s overall content wrapper. You can certainly change that by adding some of your own CSS but we give the users the ability to set image sizes in the Config in case they want to send through cropped images etc.

As I said, you can certainly change that with CSS but a lot of that also depends on how big the original image is.

To make the images responsive, they are given a max-width of 100% so they don’t get stretched or pixelated with width:100% but then the height is set at auto so the image adapts to the screen size and configuration of the slider.

Do you have an example of a Soliloquy slider I could look at for you. I viewed the link but that is something different from MetaSlider – not Soliloquy.

Please let me know how I can help! 🙂

    Thanks

The themes overall content wrapper is 100% of screen.

I gave up and installed meta slider instead. They do 100% screen width.

The only way to get a 100% slider with soliloquy was to make the image 3000px by 1500px which is ridiculously large.

Anyway, meta slider works perfectly with their 100% full screen setting so I no longer need to worry.
