FTP Storage not saving properly

    Hi!

    Even though I select FTP storage and deselect Website server, all the backups made go to the website server… Any idea why this might be happening?

    Hi,

    Thank you for reaching out!

    If you’re using the main “Backup Now” button at the top of the BackWPUp dashboard, the backup will be saved to the website server by default. Storage settings configured for a specific backup job are not applied to this button.

    Could you please try running the backup directly from the job where you configured FTP as the storage destination?

    If the same issue happens there as well, could you please share:

    • Your current BackWPUp version.
    • The backup log from that job.
    • Whether you see any error or warning when saving the FTP settings.

    Please remove any FTP credentials or other sensitive information from the log before sharing it here.
