My 3.5 blog allowed me to auto update plugins by clicking Update Now on the plugin page, but since installing 3.5.1 when I do this I am presented with a Connection Information Log in screen for an FTP connection to my server. I run a self hosted blog on a WHS 2011 so don’t admin my site via FTP.

Can anyone tell me how to change this back to the way it was before in 3.5.0 please?

Thanks MaamuT, i’ll try that after Christmas. I had been backing up my whole directory then copying in the new plug in a over the top of the original folders and that seemed to work ok but it was hassle. Your way sounds much better – thanks. Jon
