Frontpage Slider – Image does not scroll

When scrolling the homepage, the slider image stays fixed in location, rather than scrolling up with the text/button and menubar.

How can I make the slider image scroll along with the page rather than staying in a fixed location? I tried copying the JS from an older support post, but that didn’t fix the problem.
