Also I have the same problem on my sites. This occurs since the last update. I tried disabling everything and with a clean install but not solved. It seems that does nothing when the option is marked in settings. Could you check it? Thank you!
I’ll check into it, but do either of you notice any JavaScript errors in the console of your browser? If you know how to check that, let me know. That would help.
Also, a list of other plugins you have activated and your theme if it’s a public theme.
Thanks!
I am using the theme called Total which is a purchased theme. Below is what I get when going from a backend to backend and frontend to frontend.
Plugins:
Contact Form 7
Duplicate Post
Enable Media Replace
Envato wp toolkit
HTML social share
Post snippets
Rename wp-login.php

I am still having this issue on new installs. Any updates about would be much appreciated.

Do you know what version this WAS working on?
I must have taken this functionality out at some point and I can’t seem to locate where. Thanks!
Still does not work in the WP Admin Bar position. I tried on all my sites and on a fresh installation (only WP default theme + WPjmp). It works OK on Top of Screen position (in the Bottom of Screen position is, simply, unusable), but these are not the recommended positions.
You need to be holding down Shift when you click (front-end or back-end) to jump to the front-end of that page.
Actually… I see what the problem is.
I’m working on a fix for this right now. Going to call it 4.0 and it should be available by the end of the week. Look for that… Cheers.
