• Hello,

I would like to allow a specific user to download photos.

By default, front-end downloads are disabled.

Is there a way to enable this specifically for a particular album?

    Best regards,

    Horst

    Install this pre-release: https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/wp-photo-album-plus.9.2.02.001.zip

    Change log:

    = 9.2.02 =

    * Fixed bux related to selection by cats and tags
    * New feature: You can now restrict frontend item download capability on a mix of userroles and albums.
Related settings: Photo ALbums -> Settings -> Basic settings -> Links -> IV: Frontend download links -> Items 11 and 12

I’ll test it as soon as possible.

You will need to create a special user role. If you want help how to do this, pls tell me, i can explain

    I’m currently testing the feature:

I’m using Ultimate Member for user management.

I get the download link when I activate the user group, but it appears for all photos.

Even if I select only one album under >> Links: 10: Show download link on items from album:

    it doesn’t make a difference.

You mentioned a specific role. What should I change?

I checked a few other things and noticed that, as an administrator, I can’t see any photos in the album overview.
The number of photos is displayed.
When I select the album, the message appears: No photos in the album yet,

This is still the case even after updating to version 9.2.01.003. So it seems this issue was already present there.

I can see the photos on the website.

So, when you click on the Edit, Quick, Bulk or Seq link, you get the albumm settings but no photos below it?

    (@haween)

Yes, I see all album settings, but no photos- on all albums

I reinstalled Version 9.1.10 and there is no problem.
