front-page widget areas

Hey,

for some reason the first and second widget areas of my home page (static) appear on all pages and posts. Is it normal? It was my understanding that these widget areas were reserved for the home page. Or am I mistaken? Or could it have to do with the fact that I use the Custom Sidebars plugin?I’m working on a child theme of twentytwelve, and I’m using the Front-page template for my home page.
