I’m positive when I first activated Kale a year or so ago that I had the opportunity to choose what I think is called a slider (a set of rotating slides that can be recent blog posts) for the front page but there is no such option anymore. It would have to be in Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings but the only options I have are “Your Latest Posts” and my current setting which I’m trying to get away from, “Static Page.” The first just adds my blog posts under my featured posts (maybe this is the other way to look at it—I’m ultimately trying to get rid of my featured posts). It’s been so long since I set this theme up but it just doesn’t look right. I’ve had nothing but frustration with it, please help.

    Hello, @aforce01.

Thank you for contacting us and for using our theme.

Sorry about the frustration, but I’m sure it will go away once you install and/or activate Kirki plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/kirki/

I’m sure you’ll see the notice about it on your Dashboard and in the customizer.

Once the plugin is installed and activated, you should have the complete customizer. Also, here’s the link to our online documentation – https://help.lyrathemes.com/collection/181-kale I hope you’ll find it useful.

Hope this helps, but if you have additional questions, feel free to ask.

    Kind regards.
