Front/Home Page Gone

    Hello all,
    I am using the Hestia theme and was previously editing the HomePage in the customizer. When I tried to edit the HomePage from within my Dashboard, everything changed. Suddenly there was no longer anything on my homepage, and I was unable to edit/add sections from the customizer.
    I then tried to Delete the HomePage and start over, but that was a mistake because now I have no FrontPage whatsoever.
    Before, when viewing my pages on the Dashboard, it said “Home – Front Page”. Is it important that I have a designated “Front Page,” and if so, how do I create one again?

    Yes, it’s important to designate a front page if you’re building a site and not a blog. Most times its dependent on the theme’s structure.

    Go to pages – trash and check if the page you deleted is there. If it’s in there, you can restore it.

    To set a new front page, create the page and then go to Settings – Reading and under your homepage displays, select static page and choose the page you want to set as your home page in the drop down.
