Free Host that supports wordpress.org

    Hi folks,

    I am new to wordpress.org and am keen to learn it. I need to know if there are any free hosting sites that support wordpress.org functionality. I only need it for learning purpose hence host with minimum bandwidth/diskspace will do. Morevover I cannot afford any investment for the same.

    We don’t allow host recommendation threads because they get too spam and too he said/she said.

    However the cheapest testing you can do is to install WordPress locally.

    Look up ‘install wordpress locally on your [mac|PC|XP|Windows 7]’ and there are directions a-plenty!

    If you really keen to learn, I highly recommend to go with paid hosting or try it on your localhost.

    It does not worth it to go with free hosting

    I am planning to use bigrock as my host. I wanted to know if supports wordpress.org and has any user experienced any issues when using bigrock as Der host.
