    Thanks guys.

Did a search on Google and found the site for wp-forum.

Its strange that when I do search on wordpress plugin directory for forum and wp-forum, no relevant results were found.

    Try this

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=forum

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=wp-forum

It looks like u have pasted the tag in the visual editor and not in the HTML editor.Just make sure u have done it correctly.

Before coying the file into the plugins directory, did u rename it to 'wp-forum'?
The default filename is "wpforum',u should change it to 'wp-forum'.

The file I downloaded actually had the folder name wp-forum when I unzipped it. So in short, I am using the folder name wp-forum on my server.

This (WP support) forum uses bbPress, forum software from the WordPress folks. Separate software, not a plugin, but designed so it can easily be integrated with WP (shared user database, for instance). Check it out at http://bbpress.org.

    Hi Sanjaymenon,

I can assure you that I am using the HTML editor.

If some reason if the current theme is causing the problem than I dont know and wont know how to fix it.

AH!!..thats where the problem was all this time....
    i checked ur link..
u have inserted the wrong tag.
The correct tag is '<!--WPFORUM-->' and not < ! --WPFORUM-->
remove the blank spaces in between.

Excellent. Well finally it is wokring but I am getting lots of errors on the page. Please see here http://www.cinema33.com/forum/

Also, is it possible to remove the side bar from this page so I can have a bigger width for the actual forum?

    Thanks again.
