    Thanks guys.

Did a search on Google and found the site for wp-forum.

Its strange that when I do search on wordpress plugin directory for forum and wp-forum, no relevant results were found.

    Try this

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=forum

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=wp-forum

    Hi sanjaymenon,

How did you get wp-forum working?

After activating the plugin annd configuring it, I created a page titled Forum and place the folloiwng code in the html editor but the page does not show in the header.

    <!–WPFORUM–>

    What must I do?

    Thanks for help

It looks like u have pasted the tag in the visual editor and not in the HTML editor.Just make sure u have done it correctly.

    (@iceman2008)

yes, you are correct, I did. But then I used the HTML editor and the problem still remains.

    What must I do next?

Before coying the file into the plugins directory, did u rename it to ‘wp-forum’?
The default filename is “wpforum’,u should change it to ‘wp-forum’.

The file I downloaded actually had the folder name wp-forum when I unzipped it. So in short, I am using the folder name wp-forum on my server.

This (WP support) forum uses bbPress, forum software from the WordPress folks. Separate software, not a plugin, but designed so it can easily be integrated with WP (shared user database, for instance). Check it out at http://bbpress.org.
