Forminator not sending notification email

    Hi there,

    I’ve been using forminator for a long time. It always sent notification email promptly. It was still sending that on March 5th. But from yesterday on, I can’t get notification email.

    I tested by filling in the form myself, and no notification email was send to client as well. I’ve cleaned cache and nothing changed.

    Could you advise how can I fix this? Thank you.

    Hope you are doing fine!

    In general, Forminator only initiates an action to send the email, but actually it’s your WP website that sends the email.

    Could you please confirm whether emails work fine in general or not on your WP site? You could try resetting the password of one of your WP accounts and see whether reset password emails get sent or not.

    If the issue is still the same, then either the email is ending up in the spam or an issue with how the website is sending an email which might be more specific to your host. You can check with your host in such cases or use an SMTP . About SMTP, this usually solves most issues with any e-mail delivery, please find more information in the following link: https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-send-email-in-wordpress-using-the-gmail-smtp-server/

    If other emails sent from the WP site work fine and the issue is only specific to the form then please do share the form export so that we could check the existing settings.

    If you are concerned about any sensitive information in the form, then you can duplicate your form, remove any sensitive information, and then export it. You can share the export file via Google Drive, Dropbox or any cloud services in the next reply.
