• I have a problem with formatting this page. It works fine in chrome but not in Firefox. In firefox the first job is in the wrong place. I played around with Firebug and it seems that if I change the padding of the jobs to 30px it displays properly but i have no idea of how to change the padding for real!

    help!

  • Hi,
We need a bit of help to help you faster,
What is the div class that you change the padding to get the correct display? in Firebug you can see the class of the tag that you edit, search for that class in your stylesheet.css file and add your code there, be carefull about this if you make updates to your theme these file will be overwritten and you will lose your edit, you can make a child theme or if this is the only thing you will change you can redo this change in case of an update, it can also be fixed with future releases of the theme.

I dont think it is in the theme. I think it is something to do with the plug in I am using, jobs manager. As all of my other pages are fine

ok then search for that css class in your plugin .css file, and these means that the file will be overwritten when you update the plugin …

I think i fixed it. Not sure if the fix is a great one though. I just went into the plugin editor and changed a css file. I still dont understand why there is the difference between chrome and firefox though 🙁

btw thank you for taking the time to help me!

Info about css differences between browsers you can find here and googleing for it also will bring up lot of information.
Have a nice one and remember about this in case of an update!
