Formatting all spaced out weird

    Installed this plugin and followed instructions and placed the [cscf-contact-form] on a page and the form looks nothing like the example. It has large spaces (15 to 20 blank lines) between all the form fields! Tried settings for both theme css and plugin css. And with and without ajax. Made no difference.
    Using wordpress 3.6 with a genesis theme.

    Hello- I am experiencing the same issue and currently testing on my local host. The most up to date version of WordPress installed, no jetpack no other contact forms and the theme is “Customiz’r”. I’ve tried turning the plugin style on and off and no luck- I have giant spaces also.

    May have found the solution here. I checked the code in the page in which I inserted the shortcode and removed <pre code> and </precode> html tags that seemed to insert themselves around the shortcode. Used the visual/text editor on the page to resolve the problem- maybe check for those tags? I haven’t had it happen before when using shortcode not sure why it happened with this plugin in this one instance…

    Some themes pre-process all page content with wptexturise. Which may be the reason why the tags are being put there.
    The plugin is not able to check for these tags unfortunately.

    @sb12759 can you check for these tags as @lgriffio suggests?
