    Don’t edit the Twenty Ten theme. Instead create a child theme for your customisations. Once your child theme is active, we should be able to help with the customisation.

    I have already modified the style.css, if I can just get rid of that white boarder i will be good. I alos don’t want to have a comment box on my home page. Can you help with that too? Thank you for responding btw

    be aware that modifications might be overwritten with the next upgrade of your wordpress version.

    the white ‘border’ is the background color of #wrapper;

    #wrapper {
    	background: #fff;
    	margin-top: 20px;
    	padding: 0 20px;

    assuming the home page is a static page, comments can be disabled for individual pages from dashboard -> pages: quick-edit link below the page name

    the white is gone! thank you very much. I dont see however where to disable the comment on my static home page. I dont see that option in quick edit?

    thanks for your help, it seems I am getting there. but now after changing some text colors I have a white boarder around banner and I can’t seem to find where I made the change to make it there. I want it black. any help would be appreciated
