    Dear WP User Manager Team,

I’ve been looking into the translation aspect of the plugin but can’t seem to find any entries that handle the text in the forms. Things like “Profile cover image”, “first name”, “last name”, those always stay in english. I’ve also tried my luck in the source code but to no avail.

Is there maybe a way to translate those that I’ve overlooked?

    Best regards

Hey @austriaatkw those strings are stored in the database and need a bit of extra to translate. What are you using to translate? WPML?

    Hey,

I was looking through the already available translations on translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/wp-user-manager and figured that was the official way to translate. What is WPML?

I suppose if I change those strings in the database they will be overridden once the plugin gets updated?

    Hi,
please, its only one way to translate these strings in the database? Its very uncomfortable and complicate.

    Hi @austriaatkw ,

WPML is a third-party plugin that lets you translate strings which also provides a multi-lingual feature for a site.

You can actually use the files from https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/wp-user-manager/ for such third-party plugins that are utilized for translations.
There are various third-party plugins that can do this, such as WPML and Locotranslate which are commonly used among others.

Let us know more details regarding how you are trying to translate it and we’ll be glad to further assist you with this.
