    Hi,

    My forms are not working (Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.) after I have updated the plugin on Friday, 15 May 2026. They are working only after I have cleared WP Rocket cache but after a few hours, the forms failed to send message again.

    I have tried to resolve it by adding the below codes to deactivate the optimization for Contact Form 7 but error still persist.

    Right now, I have deactivated WP Rocket plugin and installed WP Super Cache to use temporarily, still monitoring the issue. But I still need WP Rocket plugin.

    Hi,

    I have replaced WP Rocket to WP Super cache, my site still having the same issue so I think it is nothing wrong with Cache plugin.

    Now, i have deactivate both WP Rocket and WP Super cache, not running on any cache plugin and monitor whether the issue still persist.

    Having the same issue. I submitted another request for a fix. To get things working you can reinstall the last Ver 6.1.5. It works with that version.

    FYI. Are you using the plugin WP Mail SMTP by any chance?
    If you are deactivate it and then reactivate it and try testing the form again. For some reason that worked for me.
    If not maybe try uninstalling CF7 plugin and then reinstalling.

    I am using WP Mail SMTP. I have tried deactivate and re-activate it. Currently the form is working, i am monitoring whether its stop working again.

    I have tried deactivate and re-activate WP Mail SMTP but now having the same issue. I realised as long i activated cache plugin (i have tried WP Rocket, WP Super Cache and AccelerateWP), the form will have sending error after a few hours. And after i cleared the cache, the forms are working again and will error sending after a few hours again.

    Can anyone help?

    I’m using WP Optimize and no issues. Did you also try deactivating and reactivating Contact Form 7 plugin?

    You can reinstall the previous version to get thing s working in the meantime.

    Im having the same issues, tried everything above except deactivating CF7 as I have 8 forms that I dont really want to have to rebuild…

    Flamingo reports that every submision is being flagged as Spam, and thats why its not sending…

    Also tried Rollback to get to a previous version and that failed as the package isn’t available?!

    I dont think deactivating it then reactivating it will delete your forms.

    you can also try uploading the previous version then try the form. If it works then update it.

    that also worked for me.

    only other thing I can suggest is to go back to previous version until its fixed but I dont know if there is actually anything to fix. Otherwise disable all your other plugins to see if there is another conflict.

    I see the issue keeps returning. Doing something only fixes it for a short time. Must be something going on with this recent update.

    OK, so I am using Brevo and WP Mail SMTP to send these submissions and with guidance from them, it seems to be working again.

    Google Captcha was the issue and once deactivated and swapped with hCaptcha from CF7 Apps it seems to be working again. I had a side issue with Honeypot throwing the spam filter as well, this was also reported through Flamingo and when removed the submissions are flowing again.

    Its not the first time Google Captcha has caused this issue but using Brevo as the SMTP saved the day it seemed.

    Thanks for the info. FYI I am already using hCaptcha and still seeing the issue.
    If I clear the cache it seems to work for awhile then fails again. If I disable some plugins and then reenable it also works for awhile. So still have not found the actual root cause.
    I’m also using:
    Flamingo
    Contact From 7 Honeypot (CF7)
    cf7-conditional-fields

    Those all had updates around the same time so it’s possible something there could be affecting it.
