After installing and setting up CleanTalk plugin in our site, all the form-submission emails sent to the site-admin contains these new fields (which i guess i CleanTalk fields?)

    • ct_bot_detector_event_token
    • apbct_visible_fields
    • ct_no_cookie_hidden_field

How can we make sure these fields are not included in the form-submission email?

    Hello,

Could you tell us what plugin you use for your form?

Its not a form-plugin. Its a plugin called pinegrow, which works in a way where you design your pages in pinegrow and pinegrow generates wordpress theme php files from it. So the form is created inside pinegrow, and there is no option to design the mail the is getting sent. It only include all form fields it seems..

Hello @erkdahl! Thank you for the details.

The fields you’re seeing are technical fields added by CleanTalk to analyze the submissions and detect bots. Usually, these fields are not when the email is sent. We’re checking with our development team to see if there’s a way to prevent these fields from being included in outgoing emails when using raw HTML forms like yours.

We’ll get back to you shortly with more information.

    Hello @erkdahl,

    Thank you for waiting.

To fix ct_bot_detector_event_token and ct_no_cookie_hidden_field do the following: WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced Settings —> set the option “Set cookies” to “On” and set the option “Use Anti-Spam by CleanTalk JavaScript library” to “Off”—> Save Changes.

Don’t forget to clear the cache on your site.

To fix apbct_visible_fields we need to take a look at your form. Can you provide us with a link to your form? If not, you can create a private ticket here: https://cleantalk.org/my/support/open

We will be waiting for your reply.
