    Hey,

First off, the plugin is awesome, and thanks for taking the time to help out with support issues.

I’m currently attempting to create placeholder text in the form fields – the placeholder has worked as expected in the bottom text area (testimonial), but for some reason it won’t display in the name form field? I’ve attached a screenshot of the code I’ve used, and the result of the website.

    Code: http://cl.ly/RtQH

    Result: http://cl.ly/Rtiu

Thanks for any assistance you can offer – I’d massively appreciate it!

    Kieran

I should probably add that I’ve hidden the URL field with ‘display:none’, which is why it’s not visible on the screenshot.

    Thanks again,

    Hey Kieran,

Can you send me the link? It’s weird that it doesn’t show up for the input field. You don’t have a space in that field do you?

Also, I recommend using javascript (jQuery is available), to dynamically insert your placeholders. I update the plugin often so when you update your changes will be lost.

It’s possible your browser doesn’t like placeholders in input fields.

    Hey Jeff,

I’d love to send you to the link, but the site is a private dev (per the client’s request) – If you have an email address I can send the login details to you?

When I first load the page, I see no placeholder. However (like you mentioned) when I click into the field and hit delete/backspace, the placeholder appears – it’s as if there’s a space in there by default?

    Thanks,

    Kieran
