I’ve used WPForms on many sites, including others on this same server, but for whatever reason on one site the form fails to send whenever a captcha is enabled.

The same thing happens with both hcaptcha and turnstile, the captcha loads correctly and completes on the screen successfully but when you click submit it returns the error:

    • Form has not been submitted, please see the errors below.
    • Cloudflare Turnstile verification failed, please try again later.

The captchas are set up correctly (I’ve quadruple checked them) and on other sites on the same server with the same captcha set up there are no issues, it’s just this one site.

If the captcha is disabled, the forms submits correctly and the email is received, so the issue only happens when the captcha is active.

The site also uses WP Mail SMTP.

    Any ideas?

    Hi @baldidiot ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Since the form submits successfully when CAPTCHA is disabled, it does sound like the issue is specific to the CAPTCHA verification on this site.

Could you please share the URL of the page where the form is embedded? That will allow us to take a closer look and see if we can spot anything that might be causing the Turnstile verification to fail.

    Thanks!

The error also happens when using hcaptcha as well so it’s not specific to turnstile.

You can see the form live here: httpx://www.sportingchanceblog.com/contact-form-test/
