Forgotten user name and PW

    Hi,
    I have forgotten both the user name and P/W as I started WP in Aug last year and haven’t touched it since – how do I recover it?

    Any chance you let your browser save your username/password? Can you log into your host provider and look up your username in the WordPress tables?

    @brianarnopp , if you had given the working email id while creating the initial user on wordpress install , you can simply use the forget password option on login screen otherwise you need to go to database and can change the details in user table in database
