• I am using WP Mail Smtp on more than 3 websites and all have a similar problem. Not a problem exactly but the option doesn’t seem to work what it says.

I am using Elementor builder and the inbuilt form feature.

I want the sender email to be displayed when I receive an email in Gmail. Right now I can see my own email address and it says ME.

    These are two screenshots –

From email option doesnt – https://prnt.sc/UgZG8w-d0rTp

the email i receive in Gmail – https://prnt.sc/OVy2pjEMuEij

Please if anyone has a solution for this would be great help.

    Thanks

    Hi @devncp,

Thanks for reaching out! It will display the sender name as “me” because you’re sending emails to your own email address.

Try sending a test email to a different email address and then you should be able to see the sender name/ email.

    I hope this helps. Thanks!

    Hi @darshanaw

    Thanks for replying.

When i get online inquiries where user submits a form even then I receive it as me.

this option is unticked so it should take the sender’s email address but doesn’t seem to work?
