footer problem

Hi!

Need your help again. I’m having a problem with the footer. I have searched the support forum but could not find a solution.

I wanted to add a second line the the credits. I followed this sinppet and was able to add the text I wanted, but the problem is I cannot add a line break. There is a br / in the code from the snippet but it is not working. Currently, it is one long line that wraps and I would like to have 3 lines:

Designed by Themes & Co
Developed by

Any help would be appreciated.

Also, I would like to add the following information in case it helps to solve the problem:
I thought I could achieve the same outcome if I used this snippet and just replaced the footer. But, all it did was add a second footer so the page would display the “new” footer above the footer included in the them, but would not replace it.
