footer menu
-
Hello,
re: http://www.marinacentreapartments.com
The footer menu I set up is not appearing in the footer. I have left a few support questions which all seem to be related issues, as if I’m missing some sections…. There isn’t a a widget for the footer area.
My site is set to a static page, not a blog. Here’s the only custom CSS I’ve added so far, but I don’t think it could be the problem:
.blog-header{
background-color: #324DA1;
}
.navbar-nav{
background-color: #3C58A7 important!;
}
I’ll switch my site over to the blog format to see if this makes a difference, but I did notice in your documentation video that you show a static site set up.
Thank you,
Patricia

If you created the menu for footer, it should show up.
In Appearance>Menus>Manage Locations the theme specifies “Homepage Footer Menu”, does this mean I must use the Homepage page template for my home page for the footer custom menu to function? I’m currently using the default template for my home page.
If this is not the answer, I’m stumped.
Cheers–Patricia
Yes, you have to use homepage template to footer menu. I’ll update the theme soon. So all custom menu will display everypage.
Using this code I was able to change the background color of the top-nav bar
.fixed-menu {
background-color: #990066;
}
