    Hello everyone,

I am relatively new to the WP World and I am designing and building my own web store based on Woo Commerce with Woo Store theme.

    My site is here http://www.mr2bitz.co.uk/wptest

I have seen several sites that have footer sections that then have links that you can click thru that then give information on shipping, returns, T&C contact us and privacy.

I need to know how to do this or be pointed in the direction of a how to etc.

If you visit my site you will see I have a footer already set up with the sections that I want to make click able – this is the footer marked up Important Stuff.

I appreciate any help comments or advise as this is the only thing I have got before I can start to add content and products to my site and get it live as at the moment I have just been playing around and testing out the working of the theme and site.

    Ade

  • Hi Ade

If you create a page for T&Cs, privacy policy etc and then copy the shortlink for each (available under the page title) and copy it to a link in a footer widget eg <a href='shortlink goes here'>Privacy Policy</a>

    Hi

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Where do I find the “link in a footer widget”

At the moment in the footer widget 1 I have widetized footer with a Text box of which the following text is contained within

    About Us
    Delivery & Shipping Information
    What Revision Do I Have?
    Returns Information
    Contact Us
    Terms & Conditions

Do you mean I have to write or convert these to HTML code which will then include the page link to each of the section?

IF so How do I do that?

    Ade

    Yes thats right.

So in text box of footer 1 widget wrap About Us in a anchor link to the page URL

    Eg. <a href='www.yoursite.com/?p=1'>About Us</a>

    Oh whoops sorry

    Eg

    <a href='www.yoursite.com/?p=1>About Us</a>
