ok I think i have finally got it. So no tittle on the footer & add in as you have explained will make it appear as a list.
That would cover for site map etc
So last bit or two i need to put registered office & ltd number right on the bottom how do i place it there, & finally if I have any other issues can i please request your help.
More importantly thank you so very very muchIndeed, if they appear next to each other, at the bottom of the text widget make sure you have the “automatically add paragraphs” ticked.
If you want to add you address, just add another “text” widget to the next footer widget. You should have more than just the one widget area for footers.
then you just type your details into the text box as you would normally on seperate lines.
If you need my help or anyones, just post back here.
You can use the @ sybol before anyones name when posting a message here and they will get an email notification I think.
So if you used @innuvo, i should get one, and if i used @shiv4208 then you should get another notification.
Hopefully this helps, feel free to ask questions
Thanks
@innuvo I have put on some of the links & all is good. Only issue i have is I can’t seem to connect it to the home page
Thank you again for all your help & be assured I will be no doubt back for morei@innuvo I also forgot to ask how i remove a posted page as whilst i was trying to work this out i put the info into links & then like a twit I posted it. How do i put that back
I have now 4 links next to each other.
Just want to put the address registered office etc on the line below. How does that workDid you not want the links listed one below each other? Like this
> Treatments
> About
> Contact
> PrivacyAnd then in another column next to it, your address?
I think it would look better like that and it would work better for mobiles.
Then in the widget that you currently have the “About” link, put your address within the text widget…
And if you want the link that says “home” to go to home, remove the word “home” from after the / in the code. This will leave just the ‘/’ there and it will return to the homepage
@innuvo
You are exactly correct that will be exactly how it will look ultimately with a list underneath. I was just setting up for how many I could put on if necessary.
Talking of mobile sites I apparently have dudamobile installed although it doesn’t look anything like the desktop site with colouring etc. What do I need to do to solve this as it is also apparently optimised for mobile Dudamobile.I have no idea what Dudamobile is, but Chameleon is responsive out of teh box meaning you shouldn’t need to add a mobile plugin or anything.
Not sure if it has an option within the themes options to turn on or off the mobile/responsive mode.
Great to hear you are getting to grips with this now 🙂
@innuvo
dudamobile is
Mobile Website Builder for WordPress by DudaMobile.
Ironically I just deactivated it & the site is now on my mobile as it is on my mac.Ok this really is the last point. Can i make the text bigger on the mobile site or does it just sort itself as that seems to be the main issue with the mobile site as its all. Any suggestionsIt depends on what text you want to increase the size of…A certain title? Just the main text on pages? There are lots of different elements.
Also, is it just on mobiles that you would want to change it, not tablets or anything?
@innuvo
I would like to know how to change the text size & font as currently i only know how to change the titles like about conditions etc which i changed to lobster
I don’t know how to change the text sizing but would like to for the use in general For example how do I change the size & font of the text within the “about”. I also think that it may help to have the text on mobile devices bigger.. What is the normIts possible with some custom changes. I just dont have the time to do all of that unfortunately.
I am sure if you post it on the WordPress jobs board then someone will sort it out for you. I have other clients that I need to do at the moment.
The WordPress jobs board is here: http://jobs.wordpress.net
@innuvo
Thank you so much you have been so wonderfully patient & such a fantastic assistance to me today. I have learnt many things. I will need to learn about text sizing so that i can adjust them as when i know how to do it then i can carry it on myself, I wouldn’t expect anybody to just do it for me. I have to learn & you have been wonderful thanks again for your time
