Following Pixelfed users doesn’t really work?

    I can “follow” pixelfed users (pixelfed.social server), but i do not get their updates and the first attempt of fetching posts also comes up with nothing. There is also no visible clue if my follow registered on their side, at least i am not shown in the followers list not does my follow tick up their number of followers. Is there any trick to do it? Or is it a known problem?

    It’s also possible that my posts (only the ones where I share images) aren’t being displayed on Pixelfed. I’m currently trying various things, but I haven’t gotten any results.
