• Hi,

I followed the procedure as discribed, but it doesn’t work as you can see. I just get an error, look:

    http://www.nielsmatheve.be

    What did I do?

    1. Downloaded wordpress (dutch version) on my desktop
    2. Changed wp-config-sample.php to wp-config.php
    3. Opened wp-config.php in notepad, and filled in the information I got from http://www.one.com (database, username and password of MySQL)
    4. Downloaded CoffeeCup Free FTP
    5. Started CoffeeCup Free FTP, and filled in my host, username and password from http://www.one.com
    6. Uploaded the whole wordpress map with CoffeeCup Free FTP

Than I get…nothing! What am I doing wrong?

I should add: this is the second time that I do this installation. The first time went fine, but when I went back to my website the day after, there was just a blank page and I couldn’t log in. So I cleared the map, and did the installation all over again. With this result…

Check your database details with your host.

And what do I have to find there? How can I see what’s wrong?

    matheve,

You have wrong database info in wp-config.php

You should access your hosting control panel first. Then check database server, database name, database username and it’s password. Change this info in wp-config.php and reupload the file.
