Flv video not working

    Hello Everyone,
    Just to let you know how new I am at this; I started using WordPress about three months ago and Thesis about 3 weeks ago.

    I created Powerpoint presentations for my site and successfully converted them to “flv”. In order to display them on my site I’ve installed and activated the FLV Embed plugin. It took me a while but I’ve been able to get the window to appear exactly where I want it on page.

    Here’s the problem, the video window shows and I get the little “play” arrow. I click the arrow and the video loading symbol rotates but nothing happens, just a black screen with a rotating symbol.

    I’ve read some of the post here but need instruction in a more basic step by step format.

    If anyone knows of a video tutorial (already checked YouTube) or written instruction (already check my WordPress for Dummies book) for someone at my level, please point me in that direction.

    If you think that you can help in my quest and need more information just let me know.

    As always, any suggestions are appreciated.

    It sounds like maybe just an error in the path to your actual video files. The player is looking, but not finding the .flv file. If you post a link to your site, someone might be able to look at the source code and tell you where the player is looking for the file, then you can check that against your actual settings.
