I spent 2 hours making flash cards about 4 weeks ago, and now all of them are gone. It seems that the program reset itself to the default “countries” flashcard.

I am unsure but it could be that it was deactivated and then reactivated. Assuming this theory, I tried restoring the plugin folder from the date the flash cards were created. This did not work. Why does restoring the folder not work? Does deactivating and then reactivating this plugin remove its settings? If so, why? Does this plugin install itself in some additional folders? If so, what do I need to do to get the old flashcards back? This issue is preventing me from installing this on other sites.

    Hi axlrod

The easy flashcard plugin stores your data in the WordPress database. On deactivation,it removes all the tables from the database. Hence all data which is filled earlier get lost if plugin is deactivated. On reactivation, it creates default “countries” list dynamically (not using previous data).

I am sorry but in your case it seems that all the data has got deleted during deactivation. Restoring plugins folder won’t be of any help since it doesn’t store the data. I am afraid, you have to create the data again.

    Sorry.

Okay, since I do not want to fool with restoring partial portions of a database, I will have to redo the cards again. Could you please consider this as a feature request in the future? It can be tiresome to keep having to redo the flash cards.

    Sage,

I entered 10 flash card groups. After id=9 all flashcards are added to id=9. You cannot enter the 10th set or group of flash cards. It reads id= 10, and then another id=10, but they continue to add cards to id=9. I really like this plugin, and I have hundreds of flash cards I would like to add. Also, are you planning on adding a feature that allows you to change the color of different groups or id of cards. I have science, English, and math cards I would like to add in different colors. It appears that all of the cards have to be one color.

Send me your paypal link and I will make a donation if you fix and add the item.

Thank you for your hard work.
