I got Jimbo’s sources working. In wp-admin, edit your posts to add the custom field ‘pic’ and give it the corresponding ‘pitcure.jpg’ as a value. Also, the fadetime variable adds up from 0, so if you set it to 100, you will have no fading. If you set it to 1, it will take 4 seconds to fade in. If you set it to 0, it will never load.

Hi everyone.
I’ve not had time at all to pursue this, and better methods have since surfaced. I recommend you take a look at Flash remoting.

This is a very important project that I will try to look into in a few weeks time, I have a project coming up that this might be useful for. I am a keen Flash developer, although not an expert on the scripting side! I’ve got the wpflashtest.zip file downloaded, Jimboready’s link is broken, so I’ll give it a look over when I start that project.
I’m very suprised no-one has looked into this further, WP seems like a great tool to use as a CMS backend for a Flash website… and at least we know WP’s code, not starting with a blank slate!
