Fixing comments section required fields

This CSS hides the fist <p> in the form which contains that text:

.comment-form p:first-child {
    display: none;
}

Use the Customizer to add this CSS to your theme.

Have you since refreshed the page(s) in question in your browser?

I also no longer see the sidebar on the page noted. Did you take a differing course of action? It’s always helpful to make the posts here most clear from top to bottom.
