• Hello dear support

The string “add this note” of Masteriyo is not available in Loco Translate strings to translate.

The string of “add note for seconds” the “seconds” string is not available to translate.

I Tried Google login in Masteriyo website Demo https://app.instawp.io/launch?t=masteriyo-demo&d=v2

It was working very well and fast, but the problem was, for example i set the course free and require registration. When i was clicking on the registration button in the single course page of that course, and then clicking on login using google account, it was logging in successfully but the student was redirected to his Masteriyo account page, not to the same single course page or the learn page. And in the account there wasn’t enrolled in the course and had to go in the course page and click on start course. After that, i was enrolled in this course and it appeared on my Masteriyo account page.

    Hi @derlehre,

Thank you for the detailed report. This is very helpful.

On the missing translation strings, could you please let us know exactly where the “Add this note” and “Add note for [X] seconds” text appear? For example, in settings, a lesson, a course, or the course builder. A screenshot showing where these texts are located would help us pinpoint the exact spot, so we can check them properly and assist you with getting them translated.

On the Google login and enrollment flow, thank you for testing this so thoroughly. This is genuinely useful. What you are describing is expected in one part and a gap in another. After Google login, being redirected to the account page rather than back to the same course or learn page is a known limitation, since Masteriyo’s social login does not currently return the student to the exact page they started from. However, the fact that the student was not automatically enrolled in the free course after logging in, and had to manually go back and click “Start Course,” is not ideal behavior for a free course with required registration, since the expectation is that registering should also enroll them right away.

We will log both of these as improvement requests: the redirect back to course behavior after social login, and ensuring free courses auto-enroll immediately after a student registers through the login or registration flow. We appreciate you spelling out the exact steps, as it will help our team reproduce this precisely.

    Best regards,
    Uzwal

    Hello dear @shresthauzwal

the add note and the seconds, are in the Learn page.

I found more words which their string was not available: The box which shows how many lessons and exams completed and how many left. All of them have strings and i was able to translate them except that box which is in the single course page. That one when i click on to see the details of how much i learned and hiw many lessons left, does not have strings to translate: Lesson, lessons, quiz, quizzes, completed.

    Hello Derlehre,

Thank you for the additional details.

To confirm, the “Add note” and the seconds text you mentioned are on the Learn page. Do you mean specifically within the video lesson?

Regarding the “lesson,” “lessons,” “quiz,” and “quizzes” strings, we were unable to find any translation issue on our end. However, since you have mentioned finding several translation issues overall, could you please create a translation file listing these and share it with us through our live chat? This will help us review and improve them in our future updates.

    Best regards

Yes dear @shresthauzwal the add note in video lesson.

In RTL, when we start a course and complete a lesson, we can go back to that single course page which is showing how much from the course is completed. Besides it there is a button that if we click on it, it shows how many quizzes and lessons completed and how many aren’t completed. The strings of these were not available in Loco translate. Similar strings are available and can be translated but those strings i mention, are not available.

    Hi derlehre,

Thank you for confirming that the “Add note” text is in the video lesson.

Regarding the “Add note” text translation, we have added this as a translation request to our development team, as the information you shared is valid.

Regarding the other translation issue related to the course progress button showing completed and remaining quizzes and lessons, we are unable to fully identify the exact strings based on the explanation alone. For this type of topic, we would recommend sharing a screenshot and marking the specific text that is not translated. This will make it much easier for us to identify exactly which text is missing and where it is located, so we can verify it properly and include the fix once confirmed.

    Best regards
